This policy explains how CONNECTSIM handles personal information when you use The Global Phone and its related app and services.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us, such as account and contact details and messages you send to support. To activate and operate service, we also process device and eSIM identifiers, service settings, usage information, and network records.
We access precise location for location-based features only with your explicit permission. Payments are handled by secure payment processors; we do not store full payment-card numbers. We may receive transaction details needed to manage purchases and billing.
How we use information
We use information to provide connectivity and communications, activate and manage service, show coverage and usage, respond to support requests, protect against fraud and network abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Information may also help us offer relevant coverage or service recommendations. Recommendations do not create automatic charges: a purchase requires your action.
When we share information
We share information with network and service partners when needed to deliver connectivity and related features, and with payment processors to complete transactions. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our customers and service. We do not sell personal information.
Location and intelligence controls
Location and intelligence features are optional. You can manage location permission in your device settings and choose whether to use optional features. Turning them off may limit the related guidance or functionality, but does not by itself cancel your service.
Offline messages
Offline messages are encrypted on your device. Protect access to your device and keep its software up to date to help safeguard locally stored information.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide service, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, and satisfy applicable legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it is held. We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You can opt out of marketing messages using the instructions in those messages or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, including under California and other state privacy laws, you may have additional rights concerning your information. We will respond to requests as required by applicable law; some information may need to be retained for service or legal reasons.
Children and international transfers
The Global Phone is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us.
Providing global service may require information to be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we apply appropriate protections to international transfers.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our service or legal obligations change. We will post the updated policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. For privacy questions or requests, contact us.
